Introduction
Employers must nominate a default superannuation fund when setting up Xonboard. This will be presented to the employee when completing the super choice form, where they will have the option to join this as their choice of fund.
You can nominate your employer default super fund in your superannuation settings before inviting an employee to onboard.
How-to
You will be prompted to enter superannuation settings after adding a new organisation to your dashboard and after completing the organisation setup.
Alternatively, if you've navigated away from this screen, you can access these settings by:
- Navigate to your Xonboard dashboard.
- Find the relevant organisation, then click the settings cog.
- Click Configure superannuation.
Weโd recommend watching the short video available which outlines your obligations as an employer to nominate a default super fund.
If you do not know your default fund, click I donโt know my employer default fund.
You will need to either register with a super fund provider by visiting their website, or select from one of the available super fund providers that do not require external registration.
If youโve opted to register with a fund externally, select I have signed up to a default fund.
Once you have the details for your employer default super fund, enter this in Xonboard:
- Find your default super fund product from the drop-down menu.
- (Optional) enter your employer number if your fund has provided one.
- Click Save super settings.
