Edit the details for an Onboarding Template
Edit the name, description and documents associated with an existing onboarding template ✏️
Introduction
Edit the name, description and documents associated with your onboarding template if the requirements have changed, or, if you're adjusting a cloned onboarding template.
⚠️ If you were previously configuring an onboarding template, revisiting that onboarding template will take you to the same page you left off. To get back into the template overview page, you may need to click the Back button a few times.
How-To
To make adjustments to an existing onboarding template:
- Navigate to the required organisation on your dashboard and open up the settings cog, then click Onboarding templates.
- Click Configure template against the required template to edit.
- At the top of the page, click Edit template details.
- Update the template Name and Description as required, then hit Save changes.
- To edit, or remove, a document you are collecting from an employee:
- Click Edit against the document you wish to adjust.
- Make the necessary adjustments to the Name, Description and Required checkbox, then click Save.
- Alternatively, to remove the document from the template click Delete.
- To edit, or remove, a document that is collecting an electronic signature:
- Click Edit against the document you wish to adjust.
- Make the necessary adjustments to the Name and Description, then click Save.
- To edit the signature box field, click Prepare Document. In the document preparation area, use your cursor to hold and drag the signature box to the required area, then hit Save Changes.
- Alternatively, to remove the document from the template click Delete.
What's next?
Once your employee has completed their onboarding, you can view their completed documents under the Onboarding documents sub-heading of their summary section.
