Introduction
You can upload your company policies to a policy library, then, add the policy to your onboarding templates for the purpose of requesting acknowledgement from your employees.
How-To
Policies need to be set up before they can be sent to an employee for acknowledgement. To set up a company policy:
- Navigate to the required organisation on your dashboard and open up the settings menu, then click Manage policies.
- Click Create New Policy.
- Enter a name and description, both of which will be visible to the employee.💡 Hint: You may like to use the description field to request the employee download a copy of the policy for their records, if required.
- Use the file picker to find and upload the document or policy in PDF format.
Once you've added all your necessary company policies, they will be available to add to your Onboarding templates. Onboarding templates are used to send or request additional information from your employees, on top of the standard onboarding steps.
When ready, jump into Onboarding templates to add your company policies:
- Navigate to the required organisation on your dashboard and open up the settings menu, then click Onboarding templates.
- Click Configure template against the required template.
- Under Policies, click Update policies.
- Click Add against each of the policies you would like to add to the onboarding template.
- Click and hold the drag handle to adjust the order in which the policies are displayed to the employee.
- When done, hit Save policy selections.
When you next invite an employee to onboard with the company, using this template, they will be asked to review and acknowledge the policy.
We'll also provide you with the time and date that they acknowledged the policy, so you'll have peace of mind that it's been presented to them.
