Learn how to adjust your email notification preferences in Xonboard 🔔

Introduction

By default, Xonboard will send automatic email notifications relating to employee onboarding sessions to every user of an organisation. These notifications can be adjusted on a user level, meaning you can toggle certain notification types on or off, depending on what you want to receive.


How-To

To adjust your email notification preferences in Xonboard:


  1. Click the profile icon in the top-right hand corner of the page, then click Notification Settings.
  2. If you belong to multiple organisations, select the organisation from the drop-down menu.
  3. Under Notify me when, check the box for the notification types you'd like to receive (or un-check the box to opt-out):
    1. An onboarding invitation was accepted: Emails notifying when an employee has accepted their onboarding invitation.
    2. An onboarding session is ready to review: Emails notifying when an employee has submitted their details, and they are either ready to review, or require your attention [recommended to leave on].
    3. An employee's details have been finalised and sent to payroll: An email notifying that the employee's onboarding details have successfully been finalised in Xonboard and sent to Xero Payroll.
  4. Once you've made the necessary changes, hit Save changes.
