Complete your employee onboarding with Xonboard
Learn how to complete your employee onboarding using Xonboard 🌱

Introduction

Once you have accepted the invitation to onboard with your new employer, complete the onboarding process in Xonboard to provide your employer with the requested information.

 

 

How-to

To complete your onboarding, login to the onboarding dashboard using the link in your email invitation. Click View to open up your onboarding session, and follow the steps within the onboarding flow:

 

  1. Fill in the details for your personal information, including contact and address.
  2. Provide your emergency contact information
  3. Complete your Tax File Number (TFN) declaration. For more information on how to complete this, please visit the ATO website - Tax file number declaration.
  4. Review and acknowledge any Fair Work statements provided by your employer. 
  5. Enter details for the bank account you’d like to receive your pay into:
    • Enter the Account name, BSB and Account Number
    • Click Add Bank Account
    • (Optional) If required, you can add up to four bank accounts if you’d like to nominate split payments. To do so, enter the account details and click Add Bank Account. Then, enter the fixed amount or percentage value to be paid into each account. 
    • Review your bank details summary, then click Save and continue.
  6. Read the Superannuation disclaimer, then click Agree and continue.
  7. Make your super fund choice based on the most relevant selection: 
    • Use my existing fund: If you know your existing super fund membership details, select this option. Use the search bar to find your existing super fund, then follow the prompts to enter your membership details.
    • Instantly join a new fund: If you do not have an existing super fund membership, and would like to instantly sign up for one, select this option. Select the fund you would like to join then follow the prompts.
    • Use my employer's default fund: If you do not have an existing super fund membership, and would like to join your employers nominated default fund, select this option.
    • Use my self-managed super fund: Select this option if you would like to nominate your existing self-managed super fund (SMSF).


If your employer is using Onboarding templates, you may see some additional steps within the onboarding flow, including a welcome video or request for required documents, such as a drivers license.
